FUNCTIONAL RHINOPLASTY & SEPTORHINOPLASTY

Functional Rhinoplasty is a comprehensive approach that combines nose aesthetics (Rhinoplasty) and breathing correction surgery (Septoplasty) in a single operation. Medically named Septorhinoplasty, the goal of this procedure is to meet aesthetic expectations while permanently resolving structural issues that obstruct breathing, such as deviation, turbinate hypertrophy, and nasal valve stenosis. This ensures the patient achieves both visual improvement and a healthy breathing quality.

Who is it Suitable For?

  • Those with Breathing Problems and Aesthetic Concerns: Individuals dissatisfied with their nose shape AND suffering from severe difficulty breathing due to septal deviation or turbinate enlargement.
  • Those Experiencing Dual Issues Due to Trauma: Patients whose nasal shape was damaged AND whose airway was blocked as a result of an impact.
  • Those Requiring Revision Septorhinoplasty: Individuals with recurrent or unresolved aesthetic AND functional issues following a previous aesthetic or breathing surgery.

SURGICAL APPROACHES (General Framework)

In addition to Open or Closed techniques, Preservation Techniques that maintain the strength of the cartilage may be used. In our holistic approach: correction of a deviated septum (Septoplasty), reduction of turbinates (Turbinate Reduction), and strengthening of the nasal cartilage are meticulously performed in the same session.

Yes, the aim is a permanent solution. Septorhinoplasty aims to permanently correct not only the shape but also structural issues like a deviated septum and turbinate enlargement that cause breathing difficulties, all in one session.

Naturalness is essential. While performing the functional procedure, our primary focus is that the nasal dorsum and tip look natural, unexaggerated, and harmonious with your facial proportions. Aesthetic and functional improvement are a whole.
